Shankill Castle offers seriously spooky candle-lit Ghost and Paranormal Tours of a haunted Queen Anne Castle and ancient grave yard. The tour is guided by the owners of castle who recollect the local folklore, some chilling tales of the past residents and their own experiences and recent sightings.  The tours are as scary as the children’s activities are charming. These include early (not so spooky) ghost tours, Story Time, the wonderful Wand and Quill Making Workshop and Know and Grow, a workshop for teaching about the harvest in the stunning Victorian walled garden. Adults can have even more fun in fancy dress at the ScareFeast. There will also be  an evening banquet of the most delicious garden fresh vegetables and local ingredients held in the Castle’s Dining and Drawing Room.
