The Thomas Hunter Inclusion Summer School will bring together local people with national and international guests to explore the potential benefits of social inclusion. Hunter, a Northern Presbyterian nationalist teaching in Callan who escaped arrest in Ireland to land in New York, founded Hunter College, a renowned pioneer in inclusive education.
The Summer School is a featured element in the Abhainn Rí Festival of Participation and Inclusion, July 27th – August 4th, a premier cultural and community event in the Callan area.
