A community celebration of the unique history of Castlecomer, its Coal Mining heritage and the many community groups and clubs which make Castlecomer what it is. The event will start with a community barbecue  where former miners and their families from overseas will be the guests of honour, a variety of sporting and cultural events are organised to take place over the period of the festival with a gala event to close with a fireworks display.
